Q: Do long term pain medications such a Lyrica and Topamax have an effect on blood pressure?
A: Hypertension has been reported as an adverse reaction to Topamax. You may find that your blood pressure is harder to control while you are taking this medication. This does not appear to be a problem with Lyrica.
