Slowing your fast pulse.

Q: How do I slow my fast pulse? I eat healthy & exercise. I also suffer from daily dizzy spells. Do you think it’s the fast pulse?

A: Pulse is related to activity level. With less activity, your pulse should be slower. Resting pulse is usually lower in people who have a regular exercise program. Your dizzy spells could be related to your heart rate. People with the common irregular heart beat known as atrial fibrillation often complain of a fast heart rate and dizziness. You need to be evaluated by a health care provider.
