RESPeRATE and ocular pressure/glaucoma

Q: I decided to use Resperate every day for one month to see if it could reduce ocular pressure before seeing the glaucoma specialist. The result was that the ocular pressure dropped from 18 to 15. Have any studies been made showing that Resperate can also reduce ocular pressure?

A: I am not aware of any studies that have been done using Resperate to reduce ocular pressure. However, some types of glaucoma are associated with an increase in sympathetic nervous system activity. Regular use of the Resperate lowers activity of the sympathetic nervous system in the body. So theoretically it is possible that Resperate would be beneficial.
