Higher blood pressure in African Americans.

Q: Are there any scientific reasons for higher blood pressure readings in African American men than others?

A: Much research is going on trying to explain why specific populations are at risk for a disease. To my knowledge, no single factor has yet been found to explain the higher incidence of high blood pressure in African Americans.
