High blood pressure from sleep apnea.

Q: I have a blood pressure of 150/90 which I’ve been told is due to having sleep apnea. Can this be corrected if I address the sleep apnea?

A: Sleep apnea increases the risk of developing high blood pressure. Treating sleep apnea can help get blood pressure into control. For more information about sleep apnea go to this article on the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute site.
