Drinking and high blood pressure.

Q: Are you suppose to drink when taking high blood pressure medicine even if is 2 beers a day?

A: Having high blood pressure does not mean you can’t drink alcohol. Unless you have some other medical problem, regular drinking of an alcoholic beverage should not be a problem. Keep in mind, some medicines will interact with alcohol. You should always ask your doctor or pharmacist about this interaction since you drink regularly.
