(ABCLocal.go.com) –A new study shows that medicines used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder can raise blood pressure and heart rates.
However, it found that children who take medications such as Adderall and Ritalin are no more likely to die from severe heart problems than those who don’t take the medications.
Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of medicine and healthcare performed the study.
